PhotoFrame Manager - Overview

You want to put together a collection of photos to display? Here's how you'd typically go about it. Of course you don't have to do things in exactly this order and you can always go back and change things whenever you like, but this shows just how easy it is to get the results you want.

Create a photo collection

Pick a photo frame

Pick your photos

Sort them

Rotate them

Crop them

Fit them to your photo frame

Check the final result

Save the collection

Export the photos for display

Job done!

Create a photo collection

. . . start from scratch with a new collection

. . . OR use an existing collection as a starting point

If you want to keep both old and new collections, just resave it with a new name

Pick a photo frame

. . . OR computer screen

. . . OR projector

. . . OR mobile phone or other device (if it is capable of displaying photos)

All PhotoFrame Manager needs is the resolution you'll use to display the photos

Set up your frames, screens etc. ONCE and PhotoFrame Manager remembers them

Common sizes of frames and displays pre-set

Want to change the display . . . just open up the collection and pick a different frame

Pick your photos

PhotoFrame Manager remembers where you've stored them

It doesn't matter whether they are all in the same place . . .or not

. . . as many or as few as you like

Include the same photo several times if you want to

Theme your collection by repeating a key photo after every few pictures

Or include a favourite photo several times in succession to keep it displayed for longer

Drag the edges to get the desired result

Zoom in for accurate cropping . . . or zoom out to see the full picture

Thumbnails and preview window update as you go

. . . just include the bits you want

If you've repeated a photo, pick different parts each time it appears

Show individuals from groups shots

Successive photos can gradually zoom in or out

Fit them to your photo frame

. . . make sure the cropped size exactly fits the photo frame

Choose this and the visual cropping tool only allows selections that will fit exactly

. . . OR stretch it to fit the frame

. . . OR ignore the fit and fill the spare space with a colour of your choice

As always, the thumbnails and preview window show the final result
