You want to put together a collection of photos to display? Here's how you'd typically go about it. Of course you don't have to do things in exactly this order and you can always go back and change things whenever you like, but this shows just how easy it is to get the results you want.
. . . start from scratch with a new collection
. . . OR use an existing collection as a starting point
If you want to keep both old and new collections, just resave it with a new name
See:
New, Open and Recent Files items on the File Menu
File New and File Open Tool Bar buttons
. . . OR computer screen
. . . OR projector
. . . OR mobile phone or other device (if it is capable of displaying photos)
All PhotoFrame Manager needs is the resolution you'll use to display the photos
Set up your frames, screens etc. ONCE and PhotoFrame Manager remembers them
Common sizes of frames and displays pre-set
Want to change the display . . . just open up the collection and pick a different frame
See:
Options item on the Tools Menu
. . . any photos
. . . stored anywhere on your computer
PhotoFrame Manager remembers where you've stored them
It doesn't matter whether they are all in the same place . . .or not
. . . as many or as few as you like
Include the same photo several times if you want to
Theme your collection by repeating a key photo after every few pictures
Or include a favourite photo several times in succession to keep it displayed for longer

. . . get rid of the bits you don't like

With the part you've selected highlighted
Drag the edges to get the desired result
Zoom in for accurate cropping . . . or zoom out to see the full picture
Thumbnails and preview window update as you go
. . . just include the bits you want
If you've repeated a photo, pick different parts each time it appears
Show individuals from groups shots
Successive photos can gradually zoom in or out
See:
Selected Area of Photo in the Selected Photo Pane
. . . make sure the cropped size exactly fits the photo frame
Choose this and the visual cropping tool only allows selections that will fit exactly
. . . OR stretch it to fit the frame
Great for those abstract compositions
. . . OR ignore the fit and fill the spare space with a colour of your choice
As always, the thumbnails and preview window show the final result
See:
