Selected Photo Pane

This Pane contains details of the settings applied to the selected photo in the Photos Pane. Apart from the Move Up, Move Down and Show / Hide Preview buttons, the rest of this pane is disabled if multiple photos are selected.

Move Up - The photos will display in your photo frame in the order shown in the list in the Photos Pane. Click this button to move the selected photo up the list. If multiple photos are selected, this moves all the selected photos up one place.

Move Down - The photos will display in your photo frame in the order shown in the list in the Photos Pane. Click this button to move the selected photo down the list. If multiple photos are selected, this moves all the selected photos down one place.

Photo File - This is the full path (folder and file name) of the selected photo. This is set automatically when you add photos to the PhotoCollection. You can change it manually by editing the text in the box or select a different photo using the Browse button.

Browse - Click to change the selected photo. The newly chosen photo will replace the selected photo in your PhotoCollection. This works in exactly the same way as a normal File Open dialog box.

Stretch to Fit Frame - Tick this box if you want the selected photo to be stretched / distorted, if necessary, to fill the photo frame. This cannot be used at the same time as Constrain Aspect Ratio to Fit Frame.

Constrain Aspect Ratio to Fit Frame - Tick this box if you want to the selected photo to be cropped, if necessary, to fit the photo frame. This cannot be used at the same time as Stretch to Fit Frame.

Rotate - click the buttons to rotate the photo clockwise or anti-clockwise through 90°

Flip - click the buttons to flip the photo horizontally or vertically

Background Colour - This is the colour that will be used to fill empty space in the photo frame if the selected photo does not exactly fill the frame and you do not select either Constrain Aspect Ratio to Fit Frame or Stretch to Fit Frame. The box shows the colour you have chosen.

Edit Colour - Click this box to bring up the colour chooser dialog box to select a Background Colour.

Preview Window

Show / Hide Preview - Open the Preview Window. Click again to hide the Preview Window.

Selected Area of Photo

Selected Area of Photo - Shows the selected photo and enables you to choose which part of the photo you want to display in your photo frame. The following page gives further details of how to do this.
